We’re looking for a Home Setup Technician.
Full-time, year-round work with our own crew — not a subcontractor list. If you show up and do good work, there is as much of it as you want.
- Paid weekly
- Overtime available
- Tools and truck provided
- No agency, no middleman
Apply in about two minutes
A few quick questions, one at a time, on your phone. No CV, no cover letter, no account to make. You can answer in English or Spanish.
Start the application (opens in a new tab) Answering takes about two minutes. We read every one. What the job is
Day work with our crew across Martinsburg and the surrounding county. You will be on a truck with people who have done this a long time, and you will be expected to keep up and look after the tools.
We would rather train somebody reliable than hire somebody experienced who does not turn up. If you have never done this work but you show up on time and listen, say so in the last question.
What we ask of you
- Be on time, every day, at the yard.
- Work outside in whatever the weather is doing.
- Treat customers’ property like your own.
- Tell us early if something is going wrong on a job.
How hiring works here
1. Answer the questions
Seven short ones, one at a time, from your phone. Two minutes.
2. We look the same day
Every application reaches us the moment you finish it. Nothing sits in an inbox nobody reads.
3. Pick an interview slot
If it looks like a fit we will reach out with times that are already open on our calendar.
Notes for anyone evaluating the demo
- The application is real. “Start the application” opens
/members/screen/?kw=SETUPCREW, the actual screening conversation, against the actual seeded job. Finish it and you are scored by the real rules and inserted into this demo account’s applicant list. There is no sandbox flag, so please treat it as a live pipeline you are welcome to add to. - What is not real is how you got here. CrewFunnel is sold as text-to-apply
— text
SETUPCREWto the business’s texting number. Text-to-apply is built and waits on the texting number, so today the same conversation runs on a web page reached from a link. The keyword is still what identifies the job. - This job screens on 3 knockout rules and 3 scored questions
(9 points of weight in total). The knockouts:
- ×Are you 18 or older? — answering NO ends it
- ×Are you up for crawling under homes in any weather, most days? — answering NO ends it
- ×How many miles are you from Martinsburg? — answering more than 30 ends it
- Try being knocked out. Answer
Noto the first question, or put yourself more than 30 miles away. The conversation ends politely and immediately, and the contractor still gets the record — a knocked-out applicant is scored on what they did answer, not thrown away. - Distance is a knockout, never a weight, and the free-text question is worth zero. Both are deliberate: a weighted number question scores higher for a bigger answer, so weighting miles would rank the furthest candidate top, and any non-empty text answer scores full marks, which inflates every score it touches. This script is written the way the product should be used.
- Spanish is real. Pick Español on the first screen; every question here carries a Spanish translation. The surrounding page furniture is still English — that gap is known.
- What happens after. The applicant lands in the member portal with a fit score out of 10, joins the
shared inbox thread for their phone number, and fires an
applicant.screenedwebhook. On a live account, booking an interview queues a confirmation text (held until texting is live) and downloads a calendar invite; this read-only demo has no open interview slots and refuses adding or booking one.
